HOW TO PLAY

1. Rotate your drifter and burn the main thruster to build velocity — momentum persists, so plan your drift and use retro thrust to brake.
2. Thrusting and firing build reactor heat. Hit maximum heat and your systems lock until the reactor cools below the recovery line.
3. Route shield power fore or aft in 25% steps: impacts are softened by the shield bank facing them, up to a 70% reduction.
4. Mass-driver bolts split hulks into breakers and breakers into splinters. Vaporized splinters often drop salvage canisters — collect them for score and an instant heat vent.
5. Each sector rolls a modifier: dense fields pack in debris, solar flares shove the whole field outward and cook your hull, and ice shards fly fast but drop rich salvage.
6. In Sector Run, vaporize enough splinters to meet the quota and punch through all five sectors.
